The Devonshire Overcoat
Expertly made in Italy, the Trunk Devonshire Raglan Overcoat makes its debut as our investment piece of outerwear for the season. With the elegant A-line silhouette the timeless style is known for, the coat is available in both a textured grey herringbone wool from Harris Tweed and a deep navy wool twill from the Yorkshire cloth-makers Abraham Moon & Sons. The Devonshire is the touchstone for Trunk's AW21 Collection; both iterations embody the sense of craftsmanship and quality that is found throughout the collection and Trunk's stance on versatile, smart casual dressing. For this reason, the Devonshire can be paired with just about anything, from our lightweight merino knitwear and unstructured tailoring, to our new Trunk Fareham Cable Knit Sweater and Welbeck flannel trousers.
The Thayer Ribbed Sweater
A new addition to our made in Italy knitwear range is the Trunk Thayer Crew Neck Sweater. Available in navy and grey, the Thayer is our chunkiest knit on offer and is inspired by the rugged practicality of the heavy ribbed sweaters worn by fishermen. Made from a dual twisted yarn spun by the sustainable Scottish spinners Todd & Duncan, the textural and tonal finish of the sweater is achieved by mixing both a smooth and slubby yarn together. Worn here with our Trunk Blandford Field Jacket for some off-duty styling, the Thayer is our our ultimate casual winter sweater.
The Welbeck Corduroy Trousers
Our tried and tested Welbeck trouser model has become a signature Trunk style. This season it returns in its pleated iteration in a wide wale cotton corduroy that has been garment dyed and washed for added softness. Available in brown, stone and classic navy (coming soon), pair the lighter colour with our chunky Thayer Sweater and navy wool twill Devonshire coat for an easy weekend look with maximum texture.
The Fareham Cable Knit Sweater
Synonymous with winter dressing, the cable knit sweater is an icon amongst seasonal knitwear. Our iteration, the Trunk Fareham Cable Knit Sweater, is part of our new made in Italy knitwear offering and is crafted from super-soft lambswool. It's topped with a chunky ribbed roll neck for extra warmth. The ivory version is paired here with the Devonshire overcoat and flannel Welbeck trousers for some serious winter styling that is both luxurious and relaxed.
