As summer draws to an end, the focus of what to wear slowly shifts as we want for more warmth, texture and comfort in our clothing. For this purpose, at Trunk, we have designed our latest collection with pieces that will take you through autumn, winter and beyond. The lightweight jacket
Marrying a technical fabric with the cut of a casual blazer, the Ebury is our new versatile jacket model. The lightweight nature of the cotton Ventile® cloth makes it the ultimate layering piece. Weather-resistant and effortlessly worn, it's a piece for everyday use, and can be layered over both smart shirts and casual knitwear, embodying the ease of smart-casual dressing that Trunk is all about.

The new blazer
Part of our new made in Italy knitwear offering, the Brook knit blazer combines all the comfort of a knit cardigan with the elegance of tailoring. It has been made from merino wool in a wonderfully textured Milano stitch that gives it a natural, effortless drape. In a very dark navy, it can be paired with our new Trunk Enford merino knit polo for an elevated, tone-on-tone look.

The versatile layer
A seasonal layer that comes into its own during the autumn months is the gilet, worn over a knitted sweater or under a coat, it is the piece of outwear that takes you from late summer, into winter and out the other side. The Park gilet has been designed to do just that, with a sophisticated clean cut it is lightly wadded to serve as both an outer and inner layer as needed. This staple olive iteration sits just as well over a t-shirt and sweater as it does over a shirt.

The knit polo
Another addition to our new made in Italy knitwear offering is the Enford polo. Our take on a tried and tested classic, the polo is crafted from the finest merino wool with a supremely soft handle and, in an optimum mid-to-light weight, can be effortlessly layered between other pieces. The elegant and easy fit of the polo allows it to sit comfortably under a jacket, as it is paired here with the Ebury jacket, or even with another knitted layer, such as the Brook knit blazer. For crew-neck devotees, there is also the Harley sweater, crafted from the same merino wool in three new colours this season.

The year-round cords
Cementing themselves as a Trunk wardrobe staple, the Duke is our year-round cord trouser. Crafted from an easy-wearing, mid-weight cotton corduroy fabric with a little bit of stretch, they allow for comfortable wear throughout the year. Taking cues from 60’s denim jeans, the flatting slim cut allows the trouser to be dressed up or down with ease. Pair the off-white with the deep navy Brook knit blazer or go for the charcoal iteration, a new addition for this season.
